Day 1: Arrival in Bhubaneswar

Arrival at Bhubaneswar Airport: Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel.
Visit: Explore the rich sacred architecture of Bhubaneswar, visiting Lingaraj Temple, Mukteshwar Temple, and Rajarani Temple.
Community Interaction: Participate in a temple architecture heritage walk, gaining deeper insights into the local culture and historical significance.

Day 2: Bhubaneshwar : Heritage & Caves

Visit Sites: Discover the ancient rock-cut caves of Udayagiri & Khandagiri Caves, followed by a visit to the Tribal Museum for an insight into Odisha’s indigenous cultures.
Community: Engage in a guided session on Odisha’s tribal crafts, supporting local artisans and preserving traditional skills.
Enjoy a serene sunset at Dhauli Peace Pagoda, offering panoramic views and a spiritual experience.

Day 3: Bhubaneswar to Puri ( Via Konark )

After breakfast, drive to Konark (approx. 65 km, 2 hours). Visit: Explore the magnificent Sun Temple (UNESCO World Heritage Site), a 13th-century architectural marvel. After your visit, drive to Puri (approx. 35 km, 1.5 hours). Immerse yourself in the artistic heritage at Raghurajpur Artisan Village, known for its traditional Pattachitra painting and other handicrafts. This directly supports the local artisan community.

Day 4: Puri to Gopalpur ( Chilika Wetlands )

Pay an early visit to the sacred Jagannath Temple in Puri. After the temple visit, drive to Mangalajodi (approx. 50 km, 1.5 hours).
Community-Managed Birding Eco-Tour: Experience a unique community-managed birding eco-tour at Mangalajodi, showcasing successful conservation efforts and supporting local livelihoods.
Boat Ride in Chilika: Enjoy a serene boat ride in Chilika Lake, one of Asia’s largest brackish water lagoons, renowned for its migratory birds. Continue to Gopalpur: Drive to Gopalpur-on-Sea (approx. 100 km, 2 hours).

Day 5: Gopalpur to Taptapani to Rayagada ( Tribal Village Stay )

After breakfast, drive to Taptapani hot springs (approx. 60 km, 1.5 hours).
Community: Visit a local Dongria Kondha or Saora artisan village, engaging directly with tribal communities and observing their traditional way of life and crafts.
Evening Tribal Cooking Session: Participate in an immersive evening tribal cooking session, learning about local ingredients and culinary traditions.

Day 6: Rayagada

Visit a weekly tribal market near Rayagada, a vibrant hub where various tribal communities gather. Community Interaction: Interact with the Kutia Kondha tribe, known for their unique traditions and attire.
